Apprentice Scheme Flourishing

Monday, March 3, 2008

The Apprentice Scheme has flourished in 2007 with the enrolment of five new Students as follows:

  • Martin Dzediku, a freelance Quantity Surveyor, is mentored by the Junior Warden, Chris Dancaster;
  • Joseph Bond, also a Quantity Surveyor, is mentored by Liveryman Donald Smith;
  • Manu Duggal, a Property Developer, Insurance and Financial Consultant, is mentored by Liveryman Professor John Uff QC;
  • Jonathan Wong, an Architect, is mentored by Liveryman Peter Aeberli; and
  • Kevin Trash, a Quantity Surveyor, is mentored by Freeman Peter Talbot.

On behalf of the Charitable Trust and the Apprentice Committee, I should like to take this opportunity to thank each of the Mentors most sincerely for taking on their respective Students.  Without their willing participation and assistance, the Apprentice Scheme would be quite unable to function.

I should also like to take this opportunity to announce that Liveryman Philip Fidler will be taking over as Chairman of Students in the very near future, and to wish him well in his new position.
