Luncheon at the Guildhall, 28 April 2004

The Court of the Worshipful Company gave a luncheon at Guildhall on 28 April 2004. The guests included candidates for admission to the Freedom of the Company, Philip Aliker, Robert Crease, Anthony Ensom and Alan Turner and Kim Franklin for admission to the Livery.

In addition the Court was pleased to entertain Andrew Cox, Chairman of the London Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, David Wilson, Chairman of the Thames Valley Branch and Robin Orme, Chairman of the South Eastern Branch, who most kindly replied to the Master's words of welcome.
A Membership Recruiting Party was held on 28 April 2004 at the Royal Green Jackets London Club. 30 Members of the Company entertained 45 guests as potential members.

The Master welcomed them and introduced Alderman David Brewer CMG who spoke of the role of the Modern Livery Companies and the work of the Corporation and of the Lord Mayor in promoting London as the international centre for financial and legal services, and dispute resolution services.
