Mediation Skills Competition

We are delighted to announce that our Eighth UK Mediation Skills Competition for UK Law Students  will be taking place over the weekend of 21^st to 23^rd January at the offices of the International Dispute Resolution Centre (IDRC), close by St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London. The competition is open to eligible law students, trainees or pupils in chambers. At the competition, the teams adopt the role of counsel and client and seek to resolve a commercial dispute working with each other, their counterparty and an experienced mediator.  The competition provides those participating with an opportunity to practice negotiating skills and to explore different approaches in mediation whilst enhancing their written and oral presentational an advocacy skills.
